SAP PP Business Analyst
Interface between Business and technical IT departments
• understand business requirements and analyze production-planning processes
• document functionality, create application manuals and develop training materials
• organize and perform User Trainings in cooperation with key-users and process engineers as applicable
• work closely with Process Engineers and Subject Matter Experts from business across TSS to understand the application requirements and translate them into functional requirements and technical requirements close to SAP standard and best practices
• work closely with Technical Services department, India Development Center, IT Project Management Office to coordinate/support technical implementation
SAP implementation responsibility
• coordinate, lead & participate project tasks during SAP projects for the PP Module
• work jointly in project teams with user representatives, implementation partners and other IT staff
• assist and consult business representatitves during the implementation of change management tasks
• coordinate work with legacy system users & personnel for interfaces and/or data conversions
• support Data Migration efforts in cooperation with Key Users. Define Data Migration Rules & Test Scripts for Data Migration. Assist testing for Data Migration
Candidate profile
• degree in an IT related discipline e.g. Informatics, Business and Information Technology or equivalent
• strong analytical and communication skills
• background in application- & business process analysis, ideally experience in a business analyst role.
• in-depth understanding of the application development lifecycle – particular in functional analysis & design, software development, software test, deployment to production as well as maintenance & support
• well versed on the complexity of integrated systems
• experience in solution design for complex requirements/issues and implementation of the solution in the system
• experience in customizing the PP Module and related SAP functional modules
• experience in ABAP development and development wit SAP Smart
Forms benefitial
• experience in additional SAP Software modules benefitial – e.g. MM, WM
• strong understanding of the SAP software toolset and familiar with SAP Systems concepts, practices, and procedures
• experience with SAP ECC 6.0, experience with S/4HANA benefitial
• understanding of core and support processes in Sales and Distribution, including Order Processing, Delivery, Shipping, Invoicing, etc
• onternational project and large project experience is desired
• Very good English language
